This peculiar property is an unusual artist refuge in San Juan de los Terreros with a swimming pool and a beautiful garden with sculptures and quirky installations. The property is in El Paraiso. A small paradise at 300m from the beach and adjacent to the urbanisation ‘Mar de Pulpi’.
You enter the property grounds via a driveway between the trees and plants of the mature garden. On the plot of 3,330 square meters is a comfortable house with a constructed surface of 160 square meters over one ground floor.
All rooms are built around an Andalusian patio with a fountain. You enter the house via a covered terrace. There is a spacious living room with a fireplace. Left of the living room is a brand new foodies kitchen divided over two spaces with views on the porch and the garden. To the right of the living room is an artist studio, with the potential to accommodate two bedrooms and a bathroom. Through the left-hand corner of the living room you go to the sleeping areas. Here you will find a guest toilet, a laundry room, the master bedroom and a spacious, recently renovated bathroom. The house has a guest suite with individual entrance.
Independent from the house is a garage with a workplace in one corner and a bodega next to the garage entrance, where the residents themselves make their wine. There is a spacious and heated swimming pool surrounded by plants and trees with barbecue area and a storage house with the pool installations, a toilet and a shower. a
The garden is a discovery per se because between the flower bushes, shrubs, palm trees and over 20 kinds of fruit trees (apple, lemon, orange, mango, avocado, olive, pear, fig, …) you will find more art installations and sculptures.
San Juan de los Terreros is a quiet seaside village, on the border of Andalusia with the province of Murcia. In the village you will find all the amenities and in the urbanisation ‘Mar de Pulpi’ is a small commercial center in front of the beach and within walking distance of the house.
El Paraiso was a small urbanisation for years, a bit hidden at the end of the village. The natural environment of El Paraiso has partly disappeared for the realisation of a major project developer. On the other hand, the construction of ‘Mar de Pulpi’ has added infrastructure, asphalt roads and canalisations. It has made the properties of El Paraiso visible and now, a lot closer to shops, bars and restaurants.
This is a special property where you seem far away from the outside world while at walking distance of the beach and all amenities
