This authentic village house in Mojacar finds itself between the pedestrian streets and has parking next to the house. The house is as good as completely renovated. The house stands on a rock in the center of the pretty and lively village of Mojacar. From the terrace you have an enchanting view of the sea and the village.
Once you enter the house, you notice that this is a special and unusual home. The hall has high ceilings. There are original wooden, built-in closets. A staircase leads to the living areas. The current owners put in a brand new bathroom and above the bathroom is a double bed. At the end of this same hall is a cave converted into a guest room.
The staircase is finished with wood and red ceramic tiles and duplicates to the right and left, like in a small castle. On the left is a cozy reading room on a wood structure, behind it is a sunny dining room with fireplace and sea views. On your right you will find a small, fully equipped kitchen on a mezzanine level. Slightly higher, on the top floor, you reach the master bedroom with a refurbished en suite bathroom. Next to the master bedroom is a small bedroom. On the same floor you will find the large terrace that features fantastic sea views. The terrace has a covered area with outdoor kitchen and dining area and a sun terrace in front.
This village house is over 100 years old. It reflects the beautiful, character-village of Mojacar. The house is in good condition and has a quality construction. This makes it apart from a holiday retreat, also fit to be a permanent home. The current owners have patiently renovated the house. They received advice and help of local specialists and managed to maintain the original features and finishes in the home. There are two walls that need plastering and there is one room that needs another coat of paint.
