A few steps up, you arrive at the terrace in front of the living room of the main house. The living room of the main house has high ceilings and a log burner. From the living room you have access to a spacious flowered courtyard, the heart of the property, that forms a delightful setting for outdoor living in this sunny part of Spain.
Connected to the lounge is a dining room, which leads to a fitted kitchen. From the kitchen you can access the patio. All rooms have lovely views of the beautiful surroundings.

The highlight of this property are the lush gardens that hide lovely terraces and quiet places to just sit and read. Amongst these is a south-facing terrace with a pre-installation for a jacuzzi.
The property has a good South to North orientation, with sun coming into the house the entire day long. The patio or courtyard is where you catch the morning sun during breakfast and where awnings provide plenty of shade at lunchtime.
There is ample parking space in front of the car port. The carport can be easily closed with a garage door.
The owners of the property opted not to have a pool on the property, though there is certainly space enough to fit one. However, the current owner is one of twenty shareholders of a large private pool. The pool is in a landscaped area at walking distance from the house and is exclusively used by shareholders and/or their guests. The pool area includes a crazy golf and a jacuzzi.

It offers an escape from the busy playa in summer, while you remain at 18 minutes from the beach.
The village of Turre is at 6 km from the villa. Here you find the weekly market on Fridays, bars, restaurants, primary school, small supermarkets, banks, public doctor’s practices, dental clinics, a vet and shops.
The lovely old white town of Mojacar is at 10 km from the villa. you have a market on Wednesdays, bars, restaurants, primary school and the municipal pool. Along the seaside boulevard of Mojacar Playa at 13 km from the property, there is huge variety of international and traditional Spanish restaurants, boutiques, bars, cafes, beach bars and ice cream parlours. There are banks, private and public doctor’s practices, dental clinics and a high school.
The fishing port of Garrucha is at 14 km. Here is a market on Friday that runs through its narrow streets. In Garrucha there are several supermarkets, restaurants, bars, banks, shops and schools.
Sierra Cabrera has over 300 days of sunshine a year and is a natural reserve. It is also rich in wildlife. It is the home of the red partridge and the Bonelli eagle; but it is also home to wild boars, rabbits, lizards, foxes, martens and the endangered spur-thighed tortoise (Testudo graeca).
The closest airport is Almeria about 50 minutes away, while the international airport of Murcia (140 km) is at one and a half hour and Alicante airport (200 km) is a two hour drive away. The airport of Malaga is at three hours.
