The Main House

The house has a total built area of 496.25 m2, including 84 m2 of covered terraces. The property has a central courtyard around which all rooms are located. The house also has a garage next to the entrance to the house. Next to the house, on a lower part of the terrain is the swimming pool.

You reach the house via a private driveway to a large parking area around a carob tree. You stand in front of the impressive facade of this Spanish hacienda. From here you have access to the garage and to the courtyard. Through a gate you walk into a covered entrance that leads to the courtyard. Here is also the main entrance to the house and to one of the guest rooms.

The beautiful courtyard has a large fountain and a covered terrace along the entire east facade. This courtyard is the heart of the hacienda, accessible from just about all rooms.

The main entrance to the property takes you into a reception room with a huge fireplace, high ceilings with exposed beams, a guest toilet and cloakroom and a covered terrace opposite the entrance. From this room you enter a second lounge. Here too there are high ceilings and there is a beautiful fireplace. This living room continues in an L-shape to an office space, which then gives access to a formal dining room. This living room and the dining room are connected to the kitchen. Behind the dining room is a spacious covered terrace. Next to the kitchen and the dining room is a small hall that leads to the main bedroom. This bedroom overlooks the covered terrace and the courtyard. The bedroom has two spacious dressing rooms and a large bathroom.

The location

Access to the property is from a quiet public road to a short dirt road which takes you into the driveway to the property. The location is very private and located in a sought after, rural area.

The beautiful, old white village of Mojacar is a five minute drive away. Here you will find the weekly market on Wednesdays, bars, restaurants, primary school and the municipal indoor swimming pool. The beaches of Mojacar are 10 minutes away. In Mojacar Playa you will find all the amenities, a wide variety of both traditional Spanish and international restaurants, a high school, banks and private and public doctor’s practices.

The village of Turre is also only a five minute drive away. There is a weekly market on Friday and there are supermarkets, restaurants, bars and schools. The traditional fishing village of Garrucha is 10 minutes away.

Mojacar has more than 310 days of sunshine per year and more than 20 km of beaches, consisting of both rocky bays and sandy beaches. The average daily temperature in the winter is around 16-22 degrees and in the summer 28-32 degrees.

The nearest airport is Almeria, around 45 minutes away, while Murcia International Airport (140 km) is an hour and a half away and Alicante Airport (200 km) is a two-hour drive away. Malaga airport is two and a half hours away.
