This elegant, Riad-inspired villa in Vera has a contemporary interior in soft tones and is surrounded by stunning views. This ultra-spacious villa near the seaside has four generous bedrooms and a heavenly pool with pool house. This unique villa blends rustic and moorish style beautifully. All the interior spaces are designed to seamlessly interact with the central riad or Andalusian patio that connects all, metaphorically and literally.

The villa has a wine cellar with barroom, a closed and sunken water reservoir, a spacious garage and a swimming pool with pool house. Surrounding the villa are gardens and orchards. The villa is located in the countryside on the outskirts of Vera, close to all amenities, restaurants, bars and shops. At 5 minutes there is the golf course of Valle del Este and in 9 minutes you are at the beach.

The Villa

You reach the house from a paved country lane. An impressive, automatic wooden entrance gate opens onto the driveway that leads to the front door of the villa. This elegant villa is inspired by a Moorish summer residence with ‘riad’ or Andalusian patio, where the house is organised around a central courtyard. The villa has high ceilings, which are different in every room. The house has a wealth of details in luxurious materials and spacious rooms.

You reach the main entrance under a covered terrace, lined with classical columns. You enter a wide entrance hall with stairs to the first floor. On the left is an office and on the right a hallway to a guest toilet, a guest suite with bedroom, lounge and private bathroom. Straight ahead, you enter the living room. The two-floor living room forms the tower of the house with a beamed ceiling surrounded by windows. This makes it a sunny and pleasant space, beautifully finished with delicate details. There are travertino floors with underfloor heating, high skirting boards, an ornamental white wall moulding that contrasts beautifully with the walls and emphasises the double height. The wall opens on the first floor where you get a glimpse of a gallery between white columns. A beautiful door in glass and metal opens to the riad. To the left of the living room you enter a spacious dining room with fireplace and a magnificent view of the citrus groves and the “El Espíritu Santo”. Behind the living room, on the west side of the house, is the kitchen.

The professionally equipped country-style kitchen has a wonderful wooden ceiling. There is a central island with marble top. There are fitted cupboards with wooden doors and alcoves with shelves. The kitchen is connected to a laundry room and pantry, a utility room and to the riad.

On the ground floor is a small apartment with living room with kitchenette, bedroom and bathroom. It has an entrance via the patio and a private south facing terrace. Also on the ground floor is a guest suite with lounge room, bedroom and bathroom. These two guest facilities can easily be converted into 4 double bedrooms, if required.

The first floor is reserved for the impressive master suite. The beautiful gallery overlooking the living room leads to the bedroom. It is astonishing. Above the bed is a Moroccan carved ceiling with beautiful cornices and the room even enjoys a sea view. Next to the bedroom is a large marble bathroom with bath and shower, as well as a spacious, fitted dressing room.

Exteriors

From the riad, large wooden doors open into the garden and stairs descend to the pool area with outdoor shower, BBQ terrace and pool house.

The villa is surrounded by gardens, orchards and a vegetable garden with organic vegetables and herbs. The orchard consists mainly of lemon trees, but there are also orange, olive, almond and fig trees.

There are several sun- and covered terraces around the house, and of course the beautiful riad where you can relax all day long or organise your social events.

Under the house, with access on the ground floor next to the garage, is a spacious bodega. It has an   art studio with gallery and a wine cellar. There is a large garage with all connections for water, electricity and sewage.  Next to the garage is a work shed and there is also a separate storage room, that can be used as an extra creative room or office.

There is a built-in water reservoir where the irrigation water is kept.

Water and electricity

The villa has mains water and electricity. The property also owns the right for the use of irrigation water.

Condition and finishing

The house is in excellent condition and ready to move in. There is central heating (oil fuelled) with underfloor heating in the living room and radiators in all other rooms. There is a fireplace in the dining room. The villa has telephone and internet. The kitchen has a large gas hob, wood oven and a hot air oven. In the utility room are the installations of the central heating, boiler, washing machine, refrigerators and freezers.
