The typical Spanish village of Vera is at 2 km from the villa. Here you find the weekly market on Saturdays, a large variety of bars and restaurants, a variety of Spanish and international supermarkets, several pre-schools, four primary schools and three high schools. There is a municipal sports centre with indoor and outdoor courts and an indoor pool. There are banks, private and public doctor’s practices and dental clinics.
The Valle del Este golf resort is 4 km from the property, Desert Springs Golf resort is 5 km from the property as is the access to the a7 motorway. There are two equestrian centres at approx. 1 km from the villa.
The beaches of Vera are at 7 minutes from the property. Vera Playa has extensive beaches with thin and golden sand, surrounded by a line of unique flora, envy of the entire region. A very specific area at the northern stretch of one the longest beaches of Vera, El Playazo, is reserved for naturism. While beach tourism with textile preference can choose from the southern stretch of the Playazo Beach, the Puerto Rey Beach and the beautiful Playa Las Marinas-Bolaga that runs all the way to the port of Garrucha.
The fishing port of Garrucha is at 10 km. Here is a weekly market on Friday, supermarkets, restaurants, bars and schools. Garrucha has a new marina, with plenty of boat space to lease.

Vera and its neighbouring villages enjoy a micro climate and have over 310 days of sunshine per year. Temperatures during the day in winter tend to be around 16-22 degrees and in summer 28-32 degrees.
The closest airport is Almeria about 50 minutes away, while the international airport of Murcia (140 km) is at one and a half hour and Alicante airport (200 km) is a two hour drive away. The airport of Malaga is at two and a half hours.
