It offers astonishing views of the exquisite mountainous landscape, the village of Mojacar and of the Mediterranean. This 275 square meters cortijo has large terraces, four bedrooms, four bathrooms and a swimming pool. It is 15 minutes from the village of Bedar and 30 minutes from the beaches of Mojacar.
The ‘Cortijo del Cura’ or the farmhouse of the priest is accessed by a winding, asphalted road. It was renovated by the current owners who conserved all the original features of this Andalusian cortijo that is over a hundred years old. The house has thick, load-bearing walls and beautiful ceilings with exposed wooden beams and traditional cane.
The porche at the seaside leads you into a distinctive kitchen with brick and wood cabinets, marble tops with double, marble sinks and modern appliances. with a decorative fireplace with log burner. A small staircase up from the kitchen brings you into a lovely office, while a few steps down take you into the large pantry. Next to the kitchen is a small dining room with door that opens to the swimming pool and barbecue terrace.

If you continue on the asphalted road, you will arrive in the hamlet Albarico. Before reaching Albarico, you can take the gravel road to El Campico. El Campico is where you will find the well rated restaurant “La Montaña’’. It is 3,5km from the property.
Bedar is an extensive municipality that comprises a large number of hamlets. The white village of Bedar is considered one of the most beautiful Andalusian villages. Bedar consists of village houses, three restaurants, bars, a bakery, a bank office, a pharmacy, a doctor’s practice and grocery shops, all perched on a hilltop. The village of Bedar is 15 minutes from the beaches of Vera and Mojacar. This cortijo with infinite views is 30 minutes from the beach.
